2-Ethyl-1,3-hexanediol, also known as Ethohexadiol or Rutgers 612, CAS 94-96-2, is a colorless slightly viscous oily diol liquid with molecular formula C₈H₁₈O₂. It is famous as classic insect repellent raw material. It has both lipophilic and hydrophilic properties, so it can be applied in personal care, coating, ink and fine chemical synthesis. We mainly supply 99% technical grade. It can be used alone or compounded with other repellents. It should be sealed away from light for storage.
