VANPLAST 202 CAS#61790-48-5
VANPLAST 202 (CAS No. 61790-48-5), also called barium petroleum sulfonate, is a reddish-brown to brown viscous liquid or semi-solid. As a commonly used oil-soluble rust inhibitor, it is primarily formulated into anti-rust oils and greases. It prevents rusting by generating a protective film on metal surfaces. This product dissolves easily in mineral oils and organic solvents, yet it is barely soluble in water.
